Candidate does not belong to Creamy Layer. Date of issue of Certificate should not
be earlier than 1 year from the last date of submission of Application Form.
(ii) For SC, ST - Certificate should be issued by Tehsildar or above rank officer in format
of State Govt./Central Govt. of India.
(iii) OPH - Certificate must be issued by State/Central Govt. Hospital.
Note:
Candidate should bring all Original Certificate - Degree, Internship Completion
certificate, Date of Birth, Caste certificate and MCI registration for verification,
without which no candidates shall be permitted to appear for the selection. The

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :-

15. Bank would be free to reject the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the
recruitment process, if he/she is found to be ineligible. If appointed, such a
candidate may be summarily removed and the fees paid by the ineligible
candidates shall be forfeited.

Merely satisfying the eligibility criteria norms do not entitle the candidate to be called
for interview. The Bank reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates
for interview after preliminary screening/ short-listing with reference to the candidate's
age, qualification, essential requirements, suitability etc. The Bank reserves the right to
reject any application/candidature at any stage or cancel the interview without
assigning any reason. Government Guidelines on reservation in recruitment shall be

Syllabus and Pattern of Examination:
1. Minimum Qualification
Applicants must fulfill all the requirements of the post and other conditions as stipulated in the
advertisement. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the
essential qualifications laid down for the relevant post.
Candidates should mention all their qualifications and experiences in the relevant field and
should attach attested copies of the certificate in support thereof.
2. Service Conditions
 The candidates finally selected for appointment will be under ICAR service and are likely
to be posted to any Units under Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi and will
also be liable to be appointed/transferred to any where in India.
 The persons selected for appointment will be on probation for a period of two years, which
may further be extended at the discretion of appointing authority.
 Candidate must be in a sound mental and physical health and free from any physical illness
which is likely to interfere in the efficient discharge of his/her duties. A candidate who
after such medical examination, as may be prescribed by the competent authority, is found
not to satisfy these requirements will not be appointed. Only such candidates as are likely
to be considered for appointment will have to be medically examined. The candidate has
to be declared medically fit for the service by the competent medical authority.
3. How to apply
 Candidates must apply in the application format published alongwith this advertisement and
fill up all the columns in their own hand in block letters. Candidate may also apply on plain
paper but the format should exactly be the same as given.
 Applications on formats other than the one indicated shall be summarily rejected.
 If any wrong entries are made by the candidates in the application form, their applications
shall be rejected and the Institute will not be responsible for such rejection. No
representation against such rejection will be entertained.
 Attested photocopies of educational qualification certificate, essential qualification
certificate, caste certificate and certificates in support of relaxation (wherever applicable) are
to enclosed with the application.
 Name of the post must be clearly written in BLOCK letters on the top of the envelope.
 Candidates will not be entitled to any TA/DA for attending the written test & interview.
4. Action against candidates found guilty of misconduct
 Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any particulars that are false or suppress
any material information in filling up the application form. Candidates are also warned that
they should in no case tamper with entry in a documents or its attested/certificate copy
submitted by them nor should they submit a tampered/fabricated documents. If there is any
inaccuracy or any discrepancy between two or more such documents or their
attested/certified copies, an explanation regarding the discrepancy should be submitted.
 A candidate who is or has been declared by the Institute/ICAR and Govt. of India to be
guilty of the acts/commissions specified above including attempt to commit, or abetting as
the case may be of all or any of the acts specified in the under mentioned clauses may, in
addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution will also be liable:-
(a) To be disqualified by the Institute from selection for which he/she is a candidate,
and/or
(b) To be debarred either permanently of for a specified period:-
(i) By the Institute from any examination or selection
(ii) If he/she is already in service under Government for disciplinary action under the
appropriate rules.
 The acts/commissions which will invite the prosecution mentioned in para above are:-
(a) Obtaining support of his/her candidature by any means, or
(b) Impersonating, or
(c) Procuring impersonation by any person, or
(d) Submitting fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with, or
(e) Making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material information, or
(f) Resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his/her
candidature for the selection
(g) Using unfair means during the test, or
(h) Writing irrelevant matter including obscene language or pornographic matter, in the
scripts(s), or
(i) Misbehaving in any other manner in the examination hall, or
(j) Harassing or doing bodily harm to the staff employed by the Institute for the conduct
of their test, or
(k) Bringing mobile phone/communication device in the examination hall/interview room.
(l) Canvassing in any form
Furnishing of wrong information/fake educational/caste certificate etc. shall make the
candidature liable to be cancelled and initiation of appropriate action as per norms.
5. Instruction for Departmental Candidates/Govt. employees
Persons already in Government service, whether in permanent or temporary capacity are required
to submit the application through proper channel. However, their candidature will be subject to
receipt of application by due date.
6. Additional information and general instructions for all candidates
 Candidates must read the instructions mentioned in the preceding paras before filling the
Application form. He/she must fill the form strictly according to the instructions.
 Merely fulfilling the basic selection criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to be
called for test/interview.
 Candidates must ensure that no column is left blank or wrongly filled as the information
furnished there would be used for deciding the eligibility and suitability of the candidate for
being called for the written test and interview. Applications not filled correctly and as per
the instructions are liable to be rejected and the onus of such rejection would be on the
candidate himself. The Institute will not entertain any claim after such rejection.
 Copies of certificate should be attached in support of information given in the form where
necessary. Any information contained in the attached certificates shall not be considered
unless it is claimed in the application form.
 Candidates must, if required, attend at such place, as may be fixed by the office for a written
test and personal interview. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates summoned for test
and/or interview.

Certificate Requirement
(i) For OBC Candidate please attach certificate from appropriate authority, which is
meant for the post under the Central Government of India, and Certified that the
Candidate does not belong to Creamy Layer. Date of issue of Certificate should not
be earlier than 1 year from the last date of submission of Application Form.
(ii) For SC, ST - Certificate should be issued by Tehsildar or above rank officer in format
of State Govt./Central Govt. of India.
(iii) OPH - Certificate must be issued by State/Central Govt. Hospital.
Note:
Candidate should bring all Original Certificate - Degree, Internship Completion
certificate, Date of Birth, Caste certificate and MCI registration for verification,
without which no candidates shall be permitted to appear for the selection. The
original certificates i.e. MBBS/BDS/MD/MS/MDS Degree Certificate and Medical
Registration Certificate of the candidate who opts/select for the post of Junior
Resident will be retained in the Academic Section.
If any candidate who joins the post and leaves/resigns/terminated is before the
completion of the tenure, he/she may do so by giving one month's notice as per
rules or by depositing pay and allowances with the Institute for the period of which
notice falls short of one month or so.
The original certificates will be returned after depositing security of Rs. 30,000/-
or obtaining all no dues from the concerned Department/Sections of the Institute.
Canvassing in any form will result in cancellation of the candidature.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview and No TA/DA will be
paid for appearing in the interview.
Decision of the Director AIIMS Rishikesh will be final and binding. In case of any
dispute the jurisdiction of court will be Rishikesh/ Dehradun Only.
